ANN BOLEN was born in San Francisco and moved to nearby Daly City when she was 2. She comes from a family of musicians, but her love was always singing. She was a member of the chorus in elementary and high school, and enjoyed honor chorale and small group performances at CMEA competitions. After graduating college as a registered nurse she began working at John Muir Memorial Hospital. With her husband and 3 children, she moved around the country eventually coming back to California a few years ago. With the children grown and out of the house, she decided to reconnect with her love of singing by joining the Diablo Women’s Chorale in 2012. Her contributions to the group also include a stint on the Board as 2nd Vice President from 2014-2015 and Member at Large/Parliamentarian from 2015-2016. She returned in 2019 as Member at Large/Parliamentarian and presently serves in that role.
