
ALISON STEINER grew up in a household filled with music. Her mother was an accomplished pianist and her brother is the founder and director of Standing Ovations, a popular children’s theater program in Contra Costa County. Alison began her singing career in middle school and continued through high school. In addition to choir, she was active in high school musicals and later in community theater. In addition to her love of music, Alison is equally passionate about art. She is an avid painter and animal portrait artist. Her work has been exhibited at local art galleries, Art in the Park and her work can be viewed on Fine Art America. Alison worked for many years for various agencies of the United Way and later as an art teacher with a traveling art program working with K-5 students. Alison joined the Diablo Women’s Chorale in 2018 and was elected President in 2022.
