The Diablo Women’s Chorale launches its 71st Annual Spring Concert, “Rollin’ on the River” to be held at the Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church, 55 Eckley Lane, Walnut Creek on Saturday, June 1st at 3pm. The program features mostly American river songs in the jazz, rock, pop, spiritual and folk traditions. Director Mary Sorenson and pianist Stephen Evans will pilot their lively crew of singers and musicians along with the River Rat Band in a concert all ages will enjoy. Following the concert there will be refreshments and a silent auction. Tickets are $15 at the door and $10 for students.

Diablo Women’s Chorale Launches its 71st Annual Spring Concert, “Rollin’ on the River”.
Take a riverboat ride with The Diablo Women’s Chorale as they present their 71st Annual Spring Concert, “Rollin’ on the River”, at the Mt. Diablo Unitarian Church, 55 Eckley Lane in Walnut Creek. On Saturday, June 1st at 3 pm, Director Mary Sorenson and pianist Stephen Evans will pilot their lively crew of singers and musicians exploring river songs to entertain young and old. Tickets are $15, $10 for students.
Walnut Creek, April 29, 2013: Diablo Women’s Chorale will cruise through their spring concert, “Rollin’ on the River” on Saturday, June 1st at 3 pm at Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church, 55 Eckley Lane near downtown Walnut Creek. The program features mostly American river songs in the jazz, rock, pop, spiritual and folk traditions. Mary Sorenson directs pianist Stephen Evans and the DWC River Rat Band in a concert all ages will enjoy.
Following the concert head to the galley for refreshments and a silent auction. Doors open at 2:30 and tickets sold for $15, $10 for students.
